Building Extension 2002

A new building extension was completed in 2002 , it improves the existing facilities at the hospice.The extension features a new dining room, kitchen, treatment room and a bathroom for the disabled. The final cost of the extension was in the region of £100,000.

The extension is now fully operational including a bathroom for the disabled.Installation of a special bath and easy access shower was completed recently.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed ,it has been a real team effort and included guests, members of the public, volunteers, staff, local charity groups, businesses and the media.

Building Extension 2004

A second building extension was completed in 2004. It will further improve the existing facilities i.e. additional dinning space, quiet room and entrance lobby with fully automated electric door access into the hospice.The final cost of this extension was £40,000.

New Building Extension 2007

A third building extension was completed in 2007. It will further improve the existing facilities i.e. guest sitting/art/crafts room, larger complementary therapy room, new entrance/reception area and large block paved parking area at the rear of the Cottage. Utility room to house the washing machine, freezers etc.The general office will be upstairs together with a small kitchenette and toilet.
