A team of eight people got together over a weekend to lay a much needed wheelchair friendly path, from the existing slabbed garden area down to the stream, some 40 yards in length and a total of 216 slabs.

The team pictured from left to right are:-
Derick Doughty, Bob Bursnall, John Brain, Dean Chalice,
Peter Brooker, Roy Baker and Jim Reed. John Adcock was also part of the team but missed the photo shoot.

The funding for this work was very kindly donated by
Tesco plc via their (Tesco Community Award Scheme).

Jim Reed and Peter Brooker lead the team and carried out pre-planning work/materials procurement as well as laying the path.Steve Quennell (not in the photo) of (Sprite Manufacturing) drove the diggers for the trench work/materials shifting.
