NEWSLETTER UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2005 I can't believe we are nearly at the end of another year, where does the time go? Each year at this time we hold a Candle Service at St Mary's Church in Harby. This year it will be on Sunday 20 November at 2.30 p.m. I think this is my favourite service of the year. A time to light a candle and reflect on the memories of those we have loved and lost; a time to celebrate their lives and give thanks for all they have meant to us. I do hope you can join us for this very special occasion. If you would like a favourite hymn sung during the service, please give me a ring and we will do our best to include it. Do you like participating in quiz nights? If so, we shall be holding our second one on Friday 27 January 2006 here at Dove Cottage. Why not ask your friends if they can make up a team of up to 6 people. Tickets will be on sale in the new year at a cost of £7, which will include supper. We now have various Christmas merchandise available for sale. If you know of an outlet that might be able to sell some keyrings or angel tree decorations for us, please do let me know.
