Members of the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray, organised by Ken Eggleston, provided all the labour and project management through working parties at weekends from August to October 2001.Half the cost of the project was given by the club's twin in Coesfeld Germany.

This project is the second phase of a garden development by the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray Belvoir.

The first phase, completed last year, saw the existing summer house moved closer to the new building extension and re-weather proofing of its timber, plus the laying of a lawn and paved area .
