Listening Ear Service

This service provides friendship and support for carers and their families on a regular basis. It is not a counselling service but volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds visit clients in their homes, keeping the risk of isolation and despair to an absolute minimum.

Home Sitting Service

Basic care and support is provided in the guest's home, giving carers time to fulfil their own commitments. Volunteers are able to provide care such as making drinks and snacks and keeping the guest company for a few hours.

Bereavement Support Service

This service is available to relatives of guests formerly attending Dove Cottage and also to bereaved people in the local community.Click here for details of the service.
