VOLUNTEERS UPDATE- APRIL 2010

Summer is fast approaching and with it comes our usua! annual Summer Fete on Sunday 16th May. As you know this is our major fundraiser of the year and is an opportunity for the public to come and have a look around the hospice. As usual any help you can offer wouid be most appreciated. We need people to help set up, run stalls etc. There is a list up in the small kitchen if you are able to help. We desperately need someone to run the BBQ. Any takers wouid be very welcome. As always, we're still looking for items for stalls; rnainly plants, wine, cakes, tombola prizes etc. Any contributions you may have would be gratefully received!

The Prize Draw always makes a huge contribution to the day and this year's main prize will be a flat-screen TV. I hope you don't mind but I have enclosed a couple of books of tickets. If you can sell any for us, that would be great, but please don't worry if you can't. We will need all stubs and money returned by the day of the fete. If you would like any more books, please let us know.

I've also enclosed a poster. Perhaps you would be kind enough to display this somewhere for us. There are also a few flyers for you to hand to your friends.
